Police Investigating An Assault Along Algonquin Rd Near Arlington Heights-Mount Prospect Border
Arlington Heights police responded about 6:38 AM Sunday to a report from Mount Prospect police that they were flagged down by a female who was apparently the victim of an assault near the border of Arlington Heights and Mount Prospect along Algonquin Road. Police called for paramedics and began an investigation. Police also towed a Chrysler van for investigation to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. The van had been reported stolen and is possibly connected to the assault case.
Police transported six subjects -- some male/adults and some male/juveniles -- in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. It is not confirmed if all of the subjects in custody were male subjects.
