Police Activity: Traffic Stop On Route 53 Just North Of Northwest Highway For Possible Kidnapping Suspect And Victim
Police activity about 10:20 p.m. Tuesday on Route 53, just north of Northwest Highway (Route 14) for an emergency traffic stop involving a possible kidnapping out of Elmhurst.
Suspect in custody and victim apparently safe surrounded by about twenty police cars, from agencies including Arlington Heights, Cook County Sheriff, Elmhurst and others.
