Family Disturbance, 2 In Custody, 1 To Hospital On East Algonquin Rd, Arlington Heights
Arlington Heights police responded about 10:23 PM Wednesday to a family problem in an apartment in the block of 1100 East Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report of a physical fight and serious threats to family members at the apartment. First police on the scene called for backup and a supervisor to respond to the scene. Police surrounded the apartment and a Taser was possibly deployed -- not confirmed. A Spanish language translator was also called to the scene.
Paramedics were requested at the scene at about 10:33 p.m. The threat was resolved by about 10:50 p.m.
Police transported one male/adult and one male/unknown in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
One victim was transported to the hospital with police following.
