Vehicle-Pedestrian Incident At Hintz Rd And Tide Ct Shuts Down Hintz Road, Wheeling
Wheeling police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:15 PM Wednesday to hintz and Tide Ct Wheeling, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a pedestrian was hit by a car at Hintz Road and Tide Court.
Police arrived first and immediately shut down eastbound Hintz Road at Route 83.
Wheeling firefighter/paramedics transported the victim to Glenbrook Hospital -- apparently with life-threatening injuries.
A prolonged accident investigation was underway until about 11:45 p.m., and Hintz Road was re-opened at about 11:55 p.m. Wednesday.
