Burglary At Dollar Tree Store On Golf Rd, Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights
Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:49 AM Sunday of commercial burglary at Dollar Tree, 89 West Golf Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders criminally damaged a small 2' by 3' window at the front entrance of the Dollar Tree, and then burglarized the business.
Offenders ransacked an interior office, compromised a safe, and removed cash from stored register drawers in the safe.
The offenders left with a Dell Computer, and an excess of $800 in cash and rolled coins stolen from the safe. The offender(s) also damaged some incidental electrical parts of the interior store.
The damage and burglary was discovered by an assistant manager who was opening the store for the morning.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Saturday March 1, 2014 at 10:20 p.m. and Sunday March 2, 2014 at 8:48 am.
