Dui Arrest After Property Damage Crash, Northwest Highway And Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police arrested a DUI driver 7:15 PM Saturday after responding to a property damage crash at Northwest Highway and Euclid Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police that a driver of a 2003 Volvo s40 proceeded from the left turn lane of westbound Northwest Highway, and struck another vehicle driven by a Buffalo Grove resident -- a 2008 Saturn. No injuries were reported in the crash.

During the course of the investigation of the accident, the police officer detected a strong odor of alcohol and that the driver of the Volvo had physical characteristic related to the consumption of alcohol. The police officer reported that the driver also admitted having consumed alcohol.

Based on observations and a field sobriety test, Arlington Heights police arrested Jill Webb, age 48, of the 1100 block of West Hawthorne Street in Arlington Heights.

Police transported the driver in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. The driver's vehicle was towed to a police holding area.


Jill Webb was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters, and her 2003 Volvo S40 was towed to a police holding area.

Webb was arrested, processed and released after posting 10 percent bond.

Court date is April 15, 2014 at 9:00 am.
