Elk Grove Village police responded about 8:40 PM Sunday to a report of an attempted armed robbery at Brown's Chicken Restaurant 90 East Devon Avenue Elk Grove Village, IL. Police received a report of an attempted armed robbery at the "McDonald's" restaurant, but the location checks to a Brown's Chicken.
The offender was described as a male/black offender, age 35, 5'6" thin build, wearing a white bandana with a star design, a gray jacket, and blue jeans.
The offender displayed a hangun, and was last seen heading westbound toward Arlington Heights Road.
The crime is reported to have occurred at about 8:40 p.m. No additional details are available at this time.
