Report Of Barrel Explosion And Fire Found To Be No Threat Behind Apartment Complex, Arlington Heights
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:47 PM Thursday to a report that a large red barrel exploded 600 West Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that the barrel was located in a field behind the apartment complex.
Firefighters found the source of concern in the 300 block of West Waverly Court, and reported there was no problem.
