Hit-And-Run Car Vs House Crash At Central Rd And Belmont Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:02 PM Tuesday to a report of a hit-and-run car crash into a house at Central Road and South Belmont Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a mother and two children were already out of the car, but injured and bleeding on the front lawn.

A silver Mitsubishi Outlander crashed into the front door of a two-story brick home at the southwest corner of Central Road and Belmont Avenue.

Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics are believed to have transported a mom and two children to Northwest Community Hospital, but this information has not been confirmed.

Tire marks showed a long track along westbound lanes of Central Road that veer left across all lanes, up the yard, and into the front door of the home taht was struck. The car did severe damage to the brick entrance to the home.

Police were investigating a suspected impact site just east of 602 East Central Road. Some glass, a wheel cover and one or two clipped curbside mailboxes were photographed by a police accident investigator.
