Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a fire in a second floor bedroom. The homeowners reported early that they believed they extinguished the fire.

Firefighters arrived and reported nothing showing from the exterior. Firefighters brought out a smoking mattress from a second floor bedroom. The fire was contained by the resident before firefighters arrived.
