Boy, Age 13, Shot in the Face on Prospect Ave Near Mannheim Rd, Des Plaines
Des Plaines police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:20 PM Friday to a report of multiple people shot in the street Des Plaines , IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of people shot in the street. Firefighters/paramedics on the scene found one 13-year-old male who was shot in the face. The boy was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, and was listed in serious condition.
No other people were shot, but a second ambulance was called to the scene for a person that passed out or fainted.
