Fatal Crash with Multiple Injuries on Outbound Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) Near Cicero Ave, Chicago
Chicago and Illinois State Police, firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:39 AM Friday to a report of crash with injuries at 41.871880, -87.743393 (OB I-290 and Cicero Avenue) Chicago, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics on arrival reported a rollover crash on the outbound Eisenhower Expressway at Cicero Avenue.
The Eisenhower Expressway was completely blocked during rescue operations and remained blocked for an extended accident investigation.
Chicago firefighters requested an EMS Plan 1. A total of seven ambulances responded to the crash.
One person was ejected from the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
