Townhouse Fire on Weidner Rd Near Dundee Rd, Buffalo Grove
Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:13 PM Tuesday to a report of a fire in a townhouse at 845 South Weidner Court Buffalo Grove, Il. Tower Ladder 25's crew on arrival reported evacuation in progress, then reported smoke showing with residents on the scene reporting a fire.
Crews were immediately leading out with a hoseline.
Firefighter/paramedics reported a fire in a first floor laundry room and bathroom in a townhouse.
The fire was declared out by 9:24 p.m.
A primary search of the first floor was underway by 9:26 p.m.
Overhaul was underway by 9:27 p.m.
A primary search on the first floor was declared clear by 9:28 p.m.
Buffalo Grove Battalion Chief 4 requested a third ambulance after an interior crew reported possibly one patient needing medical attention. Rolling Meadows Ambulance 16 was assigned as the third ambulance to the scene.
A primary search was underway on the second floor by 9:28 p.m.
An all clear was declared for the second floor -- secondary search completed by 9:44 p.m.
