Retail Theft Over $4,000 by 2 Offenders at Mariano's on East Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:59 PM Wednesday of a theft at Mariano's, 802 East Northwest Highway Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that two unknown offenders concealed merchandise for sale on their persons before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise.

The first offender is described as female, Hispanic, approximately 40-45 years old, approximately 5'5" tall 120 LBS with shoulder length black hair and dark makeup.

The second offender is described as male, black, approximately 30-40 years old, approximately 6'04" 240 LBS and wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and black/white gym shoes.

The offenders were last seen running from the area on foot.

The total retail value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $4,060.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 between 9:50 PM and 9:58 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:08 (hours: minutes).

Retail Theft at Jewel-Osco on South Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:26 PM Tuesday of a theft at Jewel-Osco, 1860 S Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender concealed merchandise for sale on his person before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise.


The offender is described as a male (no race available) approximately 6'0" with a slim build and wearing a blue shirt and a tan hat. The offender was last seen leaving the area in a dark blue Nissan sedan with an unknown license plate. The total retail value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $360.

Apartment Burglary at Salem Apartments on Salem Ave Near Eastman St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:38 PM Tuesday of a residential burglary at Salem Apartments, 315 NOrth Salem Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders unlawfully entered the victim's apartment by breaking a screen on an exterior window that was left open. A television was broken inside the apartment but it does not appear anything was taken from the apartment.

Construction Site Burglary at on West Euclid Ave Near Rolhwing Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:01 AM Tuesday of a commercial burglary at a construction site at 3400 West Euclid Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a construction trailer at a construction site.

Two unknown male offenders unlawfully entered the construction site by scaling a security fence on the property. The offenders were seen via security footage attempting to gain entry into a flatbed work truck. Officers on scene also located a construction trailer with a broken window. It appears entry was made into the trailer. Taken from the site was construction equipment with an unknown value.

The male offenders were further described as wearing dark colored clothing.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Monday, May 11, 2020 at 11:49 PM and Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 2:00 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 2:11 (hours: minutes).

Illegal Dumping at Construction Dumpster on Haddow Ave Near Fremont St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:01 AM Sunday of criminal damage to property in the block of 400 North Haddow Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders illegally dumped materials at a residential construction site near Recreation Park.

An unknown offender of offenders unlawfully threw garbage and dog waste bags into a construction waste roll away dumpster on the owner's property.

The property crime was noticed last Sunday, but may have occurred as early as last July 2019.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Monday, July 1, 2019 at 8:00 AM and Sunday, April 12, 2020 at 8:00 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 6864 (hours: minutes) or about 286 days.

Robbery at 7-Eleven at Hintz Rd and Buffalo Grove Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 3:40 AM Saturday to an armed robbery at 1418 East Hintz Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown male offender entered the store and demanded money from the store clerk. The offender implied he possessed a weapon, but no weapon was displayed. The offender is described as male/black, about 25-30 years old, about 5'10" - 6'0" tall 180 pounds. The offender was described having a wide, flat nose and was wearing a blue hoodie with red sleeves, a dark colored baseball cap, black baggy jogging pants with white lettering on the left pant leg, and black sandals. The total amount taken from the register was approximately $500.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, April 4, 2020 between 3:37 AM and 3:39 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:2 (hours: minutes).
