Car And Motorcycle Crash At Northwest Highway And Arthur Ave Injures Two
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:29 AM Tuesday to a car vs. motorcycle crash at Northwest Highway and Arthur Avenue. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a car and a motorcycle crashed on the north side of the railroad tracks at Northwest Highway and Arthur Avenue. Rescuers received a report that a man and woman were down on the north side of the tracks with gas leaking from the motorcycle. Two ambulances responded, and a man and woman were transported to Northwest Community Hospital. Passers by stopped to help the two people -- covering them with a blanket. The injuries appeared serious to witnesses at the scene, but were apparently not life threatening. The male motorcyclist may have been unconscious for a short time after the crash.
