Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:00 AM Thursday of a vehicle burglary* in the 800 block of N. Harvard Ave on the driveway. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders entered an UNLOCKED beige 1997 Infiniti I30 and removed a TomTom GPS valued at $200. The crime is reported to have occurred between Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. * The time of report to police may have been later. Update On Xsport Fitness Vehicle Burglary: Fraudulent Charges On Stolen Credit Card Followed Tuesday Night Burglary

Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:40 PM Tuesday of a vehicle burglary at the   XSport Fitness parking lot, 960 W Dundee Road. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders shattered the passenger side window on a white 2008 Hyundai Veracruz and removed a burgundy colored Dunbey Block purse (valued at $200) which contained an I-Phone (valued at $200), cash, a driver's license, and miscellaneous papers. Following the burglary there were fraudulent charges made for over $750. Disturbance, Battery on North Dryden, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 4:54 a.m. Friday to a report of a disturbance and a battery at an apartment at 29 North Dryden. Police received a report that the offender was a male, who left the apartment. He was described as 5’0″ thin build, wearing blue pants and no shirt. Police on the scene called for paramedics for a battery victim. No word on police contact with the offender or any arrest.

Report that ‘Repo Man’ Broke Into Garage to Get Car on North Yale Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:49 p.m. Monday of criminal damage to property in the 0-99 block of North Yale Avenue. Police received a report that subject(s) repossessing a vehicle broke into the garage where the vehicle was stored and damaged the garage door. The incident is reported to have occurred sometime between 9:20 p.m. and 10:49 p.m.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle on North Douglas Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report of criminal damage to vehicle in the 600 block of North Douglas Avenue. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders used a hard object to scratch the driver side rear tail light, front/rear doors, rear fender and hood on a black 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The scratches were 3′ to 5′ long. The damage amount is unknown. The vehicle was parked on the street. The crime is reported to have occurred between Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 7:00pm and Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 12:15am. DUI Driver Arrested at Roadside Safety Check at Dundee Rd and Wilke Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police arrested a DUI driver at a scheduled roadside safety check at Dundee Road and Wilke Road at about 1:25 a.m. Saturday. Police transported a DUI driver in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department headquarters. Police towed the driver red 2002 Toyota sedan to a police holding area.

Stolen Girl’s Blue Raleigh Bike Spotted at Arlington Heights Memorial Library, Offender Gets Away

Arlington Heights police responded about 6:20 p.m. Friday to a report that a blue Raleigh girl’s bike, stolen earlier in the day near St Viator, was spotted locked near the library. The bike was also described as having smiley face valve caps and a light on the front. Police received a report that the bike was discovered by the owners, and then two offenders unlocked the bike and sped off at high speed — one on the stolen bike and one on another bike — toward North School Park. One offender was described as a male/Hispanic, 14- or 15-years-old, 5’8″ 110 LBS, wearing a brown T-shirt and shorts. A second subject had a ‘similar description.’ Police searched the area, but no word on any contact with the offender.

Criminal Damage to Multiple Vehicles on West Willow St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report of criminal damage to vehicles on multiple occasions in the 100 block of West Willow Street. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders have egged a silver 1985 Pontiac Grand Prix, a blue 2006 Toyota Corolla and a red Jeep Grand Cherokee on several occasions. The residence has also been egged in past incidents. Damage is estimated at over $500. The vehicles in a residential neighborhood were parked on the driveway and street. The most recent crime occurred at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Several other incidents have also occurred over the last year. Attempted Burglary Investigated on North Douglas Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:29 p.m. Thursday of an attempted burglary in the 1600 block of North Douglas Avenue. Police received a report that a screen door was damaged. Police determined that a large amount of the screen was damaged and that a possible burglary attempt occurred. An evidence technician was called to the scene.

Late Night Locker Theft at XSport Fitness on Dundee Road, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:22 a.m. Wednesday of two theft victims at Xsport Fitness, 960 West Dundee Road. Police received a report that a cell phone and money were stolen from a locker. Two male victims were showering while they left their lockers unlocked. The crime is reported to have occurred about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday or a little later.

Manager Arrested: Employee Theft at Ulta on Rand Rd

Arlington Heights police responded about 3:13 p.m. Friday of employee theft at the Ulta store, 456 East Rand Road. Police received a report that an employee was involved in stealing merchandise. Police transported one male/adult from the store in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.

Garage Burglary on North Hickory Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:27 a.m. Sunday of a garage burglary in the 1000 block of North Hickory Avenue. Police received a report that a neighbor’s garage door was also observed to be open. Arlington Heights police are investigating. Multiple burglaries reported overnight in Arlington Heights on Hickory Avenue, Princeton Avenue, and in Mount Prospect on Deborah Lane, Lincoln Street and Crestwood Lane.

Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:03 a.m. Sunday of a burglary to vehicle in the 1100 block of North Princeton Avenue. Police received a report that a man's vehicle was burglarized. Arlington Heights police are investigating, and were checking to see if neighborhood garages were burglarized, as in cases overnight on Hickory Avenue in Arlington Heights and on Deborah Lane, Crestwood Lane, and Lincoln Street in Mount Prospect.

Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:24 a.m. Sunday of a burglary to vehicle in the 900 block of North Hickory Avenue. Police received a report that items were stolen out of multiple unlocked vehicles. Police on the scene discovered that the garage was also burglarized, and also discovered at least one additional vehicle burglary in the 900 block of North Hickory Avenue.

Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:40 a.m. Saturday of stolen auto from the 1500 block of North Patton Avenue. Police received a report that a 2004 Infinity was last seen about 6:30 a.m. Saturday.
