Downed Power Line Burning And Arcing Causes Closure Of North Kennnicott Near Burning Tree Ln, Arlington Heights
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:30 AM Saturday a downed power line in the 2800 block of North Kennicott Avenue. Firefighters reported arcing and burning grass and requested Com Ed respond to the scene. A downed power line occurred where power lines are placed between houses on the west side of Kennicott Avenue. The arcing was generated just a few feet from the front sidewalk. Kennicott Avenue was blocked until Com Ed repaired the line.
