Attempted Child Luring Was A False Alarm; Student Didn't Recognize Person Known To Family Because Vehicle Was A Rental Car

Arlington Heights police report that the driver and vehicle were located and that an investigation by Arlington Heights police revealed that the driver was someone known by the family. When the person offered the ride, the driver was not recognized by the student.

A release from Arlington Heights School District 25 reported that the vehicle was a rental car and the vehicle was not recognized by the student.
