Early Morning House Fire on Weston Dr Near Kingsley Dr, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:16 AM Sunday to a report of a house fire in the block of 1204 Weston Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that fire was causing windows to break out.

Police first on the scene reported flames and smoke visible from the back of the house.

Engine 4's crew on arrival reported fire showing from the back of the house, and reported that the fire appeared to be exterior.

Firefighters reported a good portion of the fire knocked by about 4:26 a.m. with some fire still showing on the east side of the house.

A primary search of the first floor was all clear by about 4:30 a.m. A primary search on the second floor was completed by 4:32 a.m. with a report of no extension of fire into the second floor living space.

The exterior fire was reported contained at about 4:34 a.m.

Fire command called for a fire investigator ot the scene at about 4:38 a.m.

Firefighters from Buffalo Grove, Palatine and Long Grove assisted Arlington Heights.

Prospect Heights firefighters provided coverage at an Arlington Heights fire station.

No injuries were reported. All residents were evacuating the house immediately after the fire was reported.
