Intruder in Arlington Heights House on Patton Circle Near Kirchhoff Rd Flees After Resident Screams; Location One Block from Recent Criminal Sexual Assault

Arlington Heights police received a report on Monday of criminal trespass in the block of 700 South Patton Circle Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender entered the victim's residence. The victim screamed and the offender fled.

The offender was described as a male Hispanic 5'5" tall with a stocky build, short black hair. He was reported to be clean shaven with a medium complexion.

The suspect was described as wearing a yellow shirt with green lettering around the collar, green print along bottom, and orange print in the middle.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 08:00 PM, but was reported by the victim on August 24, 2015.

Arlington Heights Police released information about this incident on Friday, August 28, 2015 about 4 days after the trespass was reported on Monday August 24, 2015.

A criminal sexual assault involving an intruder at the Church Creek extended care facility at Central Road and Dwyer Avenue was reported a few days earlier on Thursday August 20, 2015. The location of Church Creek is only about 1,000 feet from this latest trespass incident.

Arlington Heights police did not release a description of the criminal sexual assault suspect. In a press release, police did not mention that the criminal sexual assault occurred at an extended care facility. Police only mentioned the crime occurred at the victim's "residence."
