Theft of Unattended Backpack at Downtown Metra Train Station, 45 W Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:01 PM Friday of a theft of an unattended backpack at the Metra downtown train station, 45 West Northwest Highway Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took the victim's unattended brown leather backpack, containing a black wallet value $10, a pink 5th generation Apple iPod value $350, and cash.

The offender was described as a white female, 40 years old, 5'8", last seen wearing a blue hooded coat.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, August 14, 2015 between 2:50 PM and 3:00 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:10 (hours: minutes).
