Male Teenager Shot at Blackhawk Estates Mobile Home Community on Touhy Ave East of Elmhurst Rd, Unincorporated Des Plaines
Cook County Sheriff's police, Des Plaines police and Des Plaines firefigher/paramedics responded about 11:29 AM Saturday to a shooting at Blackhawk Estates mobile home community, 417 West Touhy Avenue Des Plaines, Il. Report of a person shot. Fire/medics were staged on arrival, then the scene was immediately secured.
An address of 452 West Touhy was also given as part of the scene. Initially it was unknown whether the second address involved a second victim, a corrected address, or a fluid situation with the victim changing location.
Crews were working to determine whether there were additional victims in the mobile home community. Apparently one male/teen gunshot victim was down at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds and transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
