Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:26 PM Saturday to a report of a pedestrian hit by a Metra passenger train, 137 West Wood Street Palatine, Il. Trains Halted Both Directions
Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a boy was hit by a Metra train.
The Metra was possibly not at the scene immediately after the accident.
There was a confirmed death at the scene by 2:28 p.m.
