Armed Robbery at Puerto Alcapulco Restaurant at Country Faire Plaza, Grayslake
Grayslake police responded about 6:30 PM Saturday to an armed robbery at Puerto Alcapulco restaurant , 1814 East Route 120 Grayslake, IL. Police received a report that a man robbed the Puerto Alcapulco restaurant located in the Country Faire Plaza shopping center at the northeast corner of Belividere Road and US 45.
The offender was described as a male/Hispanic in his 50s, wearing
a black hooded jacket and blue jeans.
The offender displayed a black pistol.
The offender was last seen westbound in an unknown vehicle.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 6:30 p.m.
This brings an additional armed robbery to a Mexican restaurant or store in Chicagoland, following a series of robberies.
