Morning Commuters Beware: Offensive Smear Campaign Reported on Evergreen Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:31 AM Monday of vandalism and a hazard at the underground parking garage at 35 South Evergreen Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders smeared feces in several areas in the garage.

The cost for remove the feces and cleanup was unknown, and the number of feces discovered was not released by police.

No description of the offender was available.

Feces is a biohazard. Biohazard waste is sometimes referred to as medical waste, biomedical waste, or infectious waste. Biohazard waste includes bodily fluids and matter such as urine, blood, vomit, feces, and other tissues.

Damage amounting to several holes placed in a ceiling access tunnel were discovered later the same morning.

On Tuesday January 24, 2017 about 10:30 p.m. a homeless individual among a group of other homeless individuals falsely reported an armed robbery with a sawed off shotgun. One man was transported to the hospital by Arlington Heights Fire Department firefighter/paramedics.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, January 30, 2017 between 06:00 AM and 06:30 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:30 (hours: minutes).
