About Last Night: Police Chase, Helicopter Search, Drone Search and More Near Euclid Ave and Wilshire Ln, Arlington Heights
Arlington Heights police responded about 9:00 PM Friday to assist Mount Prospect police with a chase and manhunt near Euclid Avenue and Wilshire Lane Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that a police pursuit ended in a crash at westbound Euclid Avenue and Wilshire Lane.
Official word was not available from police late Friday, but by putting some facts together, some from unnamed sources and witness that want to remain anonymous, there is some reasonable speculation what happened.
Apparently Mount Prospect police were possibly working a task force and possibly tailing a ruse burglary crew. This is not confirmed by Mount Prospect police, so consider this as possibly incorrect information or information that is not entirely accurate.
A chase may have begun in Mount Prospect, which continued into Arlington Heights on westbound Euclid Avenue from Rand Road. Witness reported Skokie, Northbrook, and Mount Prospect police on the scene immediately after the crash occurred on Euclid Avenue between Wilshire Lane and Drury Lane.
An older model gray or tan Toyota Camry crashed into a tree with moderate to severe damage.
