Theft of Wallet at Northwest Community Hospital Turns to Unauthorized Credit Card Charge at Grocery Store, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:31 PM Tuesday of a theft of wallet at Northwest Community Hospital, 800 West Central Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took a took the victim's wallet after the wallet was left unattended at Northwest Community Hospital.

The offenders later used a credit card obtained from the victim's wallet to make a fraudulent purchase at a grocery store in the amount of $500.00.

The unknown offenders are described as follows ...

#1) A male/black, as heavyset, wearing a dark blue jacket, a light colored undershirt, light colored pants and white gym shoes.

#2 A male/black, heavyset, wearing a dark colored jacket and light colored pants.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 between 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 3:30 (hours: minutes).
