Saturday's Retail Theft Suspect Back Again at Target Store, Arlington Heights -- Tallying Up Almost $2K Loss

Arlington Heights police received a report about 4:04 PM Saturday of a theft at 1700 East Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown but repeat male offender concealed merchandise for sale on his person before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise. The male suspect is the same male from a similar theft reported on Saturday July 27, 2019 at the Target store.

The offender is described as a male/white, with a beard and wearing a baseball cap, glasses, a gray T-shirt and jeans. The male offender was last seen leaving the area in a dark colored Honda sedan with an Illinois license plate -- the same vehicle description used after Saturday's retail theft. The total retail value of the merchandise is approximately $800. The loss reported on the July 27, 2019 retail theft was reported to be $998.

This same subject has been observed taking merchandise from the Arlington Heights Target in the past as well as from other Target stores in the area.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, August 3, 2019 between 4:00 PM and 4:03 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:03 (hours: minutes).
