Criminal Damage to Vehicle While Parked Near Fitness Center on West Rand Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:33 AM Friday of criminal damage to vehicle in a parking lot near Planet Fitness, 50 West Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders criminally damaged the victim's vehicle while the vehicle was parked legally in the parking lot.

The vehicle was damaged in several areas of the vehicle, including a cracked windshield, a broken driver's side window, and a broken rear window. All windows appeared to have been struck by a blunt object. A cinder block was later located on scene near the vehicle.

The cost to repair the damage was unknown at the time of the police report.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 8:00 PM and Friday, September 13, 2019 at 5:32 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 9:32 (hours: minutes).
