Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders forced open a back kitchen window setting, which set off the audible alarm. Rolling Meadows police responded about 12:04 PM Monday theft in progress with a personal injury at Garden Liquors, 2202 East Algonquin Road. Police responded to a report of a theft in progress at the liquor store. Police reported that during a struggle a person was cut by a glass bottle. The scene was secured by the time paramedics arrived. A second ambulance was requested to the scene for a person feeling dizzy.
