Theft of Packaged Diamond Sent for Cleaning from Downtown Jeweler on Dunton Ave, Arlington Heights
Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:38 AM Thursday of a theft at Mitchell's Jewelers, 10 North Dunton Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders unlawfully removed a diamond from a shipping envelop after the diamond had been sent out for cleaning and repair.
The value of the diamond was unknown at the time of the police report.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 2:52 PM and Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 11:37 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 20:45 (hours: minutes).
