Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:01 PM Monday of criminal damage to vehicle in the block of 1000 South Fernandez Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders unlawfully damaged the victim's vehicle by slashing the driver's side tires of the vehicle with an unknown sharp object. The cost to repair the damage ws unknown at the time of the police report. The crime is reported to have occurred between Saturday, April 11, 2020 at 9:00 AM and Monday, April 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM. Illegal Dumping at Construction Dumpster on Haddow Ave Near Fremont St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:01 AM Sunday of criminal damage to property in the block of 400 North Haddow Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders illegally dumped materials at a residential construction site near Recreation Park. An unknown offender of offenders unlawfully threw garbage and dog waste bags into a construction waste roll away dumpster on the owner's property. The property crime was noticed last Sunday, but may have occurred as early as last July 2019. The crime is reported to have occurred between Monday, July 1, 2019 at 8:00 AM and Sunday, April 12, 2020 at 8:00 AM. Robbery at 7-Eleven at Hintz Rd and Buffalo Grove Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 3:40 AM Saturday to an armed robbery at 1418 East Hintz Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown male offender entered the store and demanded money from the store clerk. The offender implied he possessed a weapon, but no weapon was displayed. The offender is described as male/black, about 25-30 years old, about 5'10" - 6'0" tall 180 pounds. The offender was described having a wide, flat nose and was wearing a blue hoodie with red sleeves, a dark colored baseball cap, black baggy jogging pants with white lettering on the left pant leg, and black sandals. The total amount taken from the register was approximately $500. The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, April 4, 2020 between 3:37 AM and 3:39 AM. The suspect is described as a male/white, approximately 40 years of age, approximately 5'09" with a thin build, balding with dark hair around the sides and unshaven. He was wearing a dark gray coat with green and black accents, a zip up hooded sweatshirt underneath, and sunglasses. The offender was last seen leaving the area on foot across the parking lot. The total retail value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $130. The crime is reported to have occurred on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 between 9:02 AM and 9:14 AM. Police received a report that an unknown male offender concealed merchandise for sale on his person before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise. Suspect Description: Male/Hispanic wearing a green jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt and a black and white flat-brimmed hat. The offender was last seen leaving the area in a black, 2011 Hyundai Elantra with an Illinois License Plate. The total retail value of the stolen merchandise is under investigation at this time.
