Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:15 AM Tuesday of a theft at Office Depot, 314 East Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown male offender concealed merchandise for sale on his person before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise.

The suspect is described as a male/white, approximately 40 years of age, approximately 5'09" with a thin build, balding with dark hair around the sides and unshaven. He was wearing a dark gray coat with green and black accents, a zip up hooded sweatshirt underneath, and sunglasses. The offender was last seen leaving the area on foot across the parking lot. The total retail value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $130.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 between 9:02 AM and 9:14 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:12 (hours: minutes).
