Battery In Progress Call At Prospect And Emerson, Mount Prospect

Mount Prospect police responded about 1:18 PM Saturday to a report of a battery in progress at Prospect and Emerson. Police received a report that a group of male/black subjects were beating up another subject. The victim was reported to be a male/black subject -- getting in and out of a white van with a green stripe.

Police caught up with the victim, but there was no word on immediate contact with the offenders.
