Smoke Discovered After Automatic Fire Alarm At Palatine Township Hall On South Quentin Rd, Palatine

Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:00 AM Thursday to an automatic fire alarm and discovered smoke at the Palatine Township Hall, 721 South Quentin Road. Firefighter/paramedics reported a light haze and had a little difficulty finding the source of the smoke. Firefighters were checking the furnace and a storeroom as possible sources.

The building has been evacuated.
