Bank Robbery At PNC Bank At Lake Cook Rd And Arlington Heights Rd, Buffalo Grove
Buffalo Grove police responded about 4:57 PM Monday of a bank robbery at the PNC Bank, 1177 West Lake Cook Road. Police received a report that a male/white offender passed not to a bank official and left the bank with U.S. cash.
The bank was secure at 5:00 p.m. and the offender has apparently left the area.
The offender was described as a male/white 5'8" wearing a Chicago Bears hat, glasses, and a black coat with an unknown direction of travel. He was possibly carrying a plastic shopping bag. A gray Chevy Colbalt with a loud muffler was seen leaving the area at about the same time frame from a neighborhood east of the bank. There is no confirmation that the Chevy Cobalt is related to the bank robbery.
