Backyard Junk Fire: Repeat Offender On Open Burn On Old Arlington Heights
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:30 PM Thursday to a report of an unknown fire in the backyard in the block of 3200 North Old Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, IL Firefighters extinguished the fire with about 500 gallons of water and refreshed the fire engine's water tank from a hydrant near the scene. Firefighters led out with a hose line about 70 feet to extinguish the fire.
No confirmation on violations or citations, but police were in contact with a possible offender at the scene.
