Five Rumors: These 5 Things Did Not Happen At Stand Off/Barricade Situation At Wing Street Condominium, Arlington Heights

Here's a list of five rumors heard on the street during and after the incident that DID NOT occur on Saturday evening related to a standoff situation in Arlington Heights.

NOT TRUE: A bank robber was pursued into the condominium at 151 West Wing Street and was inside with a hostage.

NOT TRUE: An Armed robber fled Jewel-Osco and was seen running into the the condominium.

NOT TRUE: A major fight broke out at Peggy Kinnanes with at least one suspect pursued into the condominium building.

NOT TRUE: One person was killed with witnesses reporting seeing a body bag carried out of the building.

NOT TRUE: Jewel-Osco across the street was evacuated during the SWAT operations

The following did not happen and is TRUE: No injuries for the entire operation, no trauma, no gunshot wounds.

Law enforcement officers responded to a shots fired call with a man barricaded in a condominium unit at 151 West Wing Street about 5:22 p.m. Saturday.
