Food Truck 5k & Block Party At Recreation Park, Arlington Heights This Saturday Evening
Palatine police received a report about 9:32 PM Friday of theft of wallets at World Gym ENTER ADDRESS. The Food Truck 5K and Block Party is hours away -- taking place in Arlington Heights at Recreation Park across from the Youth for Christ Center at Miner Street and Belmont Avenue on Saturday, May 11th, 2013. Race time of 5:30 p.m. This unique event includes a public block party during and after the race, complete with several area food trucks, music and family activities. The block party will take place from 5-8 pm on the NW corner of Recreation Park, on Belmont and Miner.
The USATF certified 5K route begins and ends at Recreation Park and winds through some beautiful neighborhoods in between.
5K Entry Fee: $25 until May 4th, $30 May 5th-11th
The even includes tech t-shirt and food truck voucher.
Registration and Sign-In at 4:30 p.m. Again, race start sat 5:30 p.m.
Runner's packet pick-up will be at Runners High N Tri (121 W. Campbell Street, Arlington Heights) on Friday, May 10th from 10am-7pm and Saturday, May 11th from 10am-12pm. Race day registration opens at 4:30 p.m. at 112 N. Belmont Avenue, Arlington Heights.
Gear check will be available. Jogging strollers are allowed but will be required to start at the back of the race.
