Wheeling police received a report about 4:55 PM Sunday shots fired near Schoenbeck Road and Wheeling Road Wheeling, IL. Police received a report that
an offender discharged a firearm from a white 4-door. Police received a report that the passenger discharged the weapon.
The driver was discharged as a male/Hispanic, light complexion, with short hair in the front and a pony tail.
The passenger was described as a male/Hispanic, dark complexion, with a mark under his eye.
The driver and/or passenger are wanted for aggravated discharge of a firearm.
Wheeling police were out with a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle a short time later on the far north side of Prospect Heights. Several gang members ran from the vehicle.
The crime is reported to have occurred about 4:50 p.m.
