Car Crashes Into Fence On Wolf Rd Near Milwaukee Ave, Driver Flees
Wheeling police responded about 4:11 AM Saturday to a report of a crash unknown on injuries at Wolf Road and Wolf Court Wheeling, IL. Police received a report that a vehicle was northbound on Wolf Road and failed to make the curve and crashed into a business property on the north side of Wolf Road. Police received a report that the driver was attempting to back out.
Police arrived within a minute and reported a Chevy Impala crashed into a fence.
The driver fled the scene as police arrived -- running into some woods near Wolf Road and Milwaukee Road. Police described the driver as a male/white in his 20s, about 5'8" to 5'10" wearing a white shirt and black pants.
Police were searching the area -- especially around 4:20 a.m. until about 5:30 a.m.
