Another Chance Of Storms This Morning Then Clearing, High 79°F

Weather radar shows storms passing just to the south of Huntley to about Darien. The heaviest thunderstorms are near Campton Hills, West Chicago, and Wheaton. The thunderstorms are growing in both directions as they head east. They are likely to affect Bartlett, Elgin, West Dundee, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, and reach up to Arlington Heights -- at least up to about Palatine Road. Arlington Heights should be affected by about 10:00 a.m.

Most of northern Illinois is cloudy. Clouds are expected to dissipate during the day with half of the skies sunny by about 3:00 p.m. and mostly sunny skies by about 6:00 p.m. Winds will be gentle from the southwest today.
