Police and firefighter/paramedics arrived to find a suicidal male in his 30s that was threatening to jump from the fourth floor. Police attempted to talk him down from the position, but the man had already positioned himself to a non-public landing or ledge on the parking deck.
After police determined that no progress was being made, while the risk of a sudden, fatal jump was evident, two police officers grabbed the man and pulled him into a safe area of the garage.
He was transported a short distance of the Emergency Ramp for evaluation.
