House Fire On Carpenter Ct Near Grissom Trail, Elk Grove Village

Elk Grove Village police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:06 AM Tuesday to a report of smoke coming from the side of a house in the block of 1000 Carpenter Court Elk Grove Village, IL. Police first on the scene report smoke coming from a vent. First firefighters on the scene reported smoke coming from a high efficiency furnace vent.

Firefighter/paramedics searched the basement and discovered a fire in the basement. The fire appeared to be extinguished by about 10:20 a.m.
