Man Stabbed In The Chest In Whippletree Village, Wheeling
Wheeling police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:42 PM Saturday to a report of a disturbance and a stabbing at Whippletree Village by the swimming pool at the mobile home complex. The police recieved a report that a stab victim was reported to be located in the block of 100 Carriage Hill Road Wheeling, IL.
The offender was described as a male/Hispanic wearing a red T-shirt.
Police arrived within two minutes and discovered a male victim with a stab wound to the chest area. The victim told police he did not know the offender.
Police set up a crime scene perimeter about 11:00 p.m.
Wheeling police are investigating.
Wheeling firefighter/paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital.
Whippletree Village is a neighborhood of mobile homes off of McHenry Road
