Criminal Trespass To Vehicle/"Vehicle Burglary" On North Reuter Dr, Arlington Heights
Arlington Heights police responded about 1:01 AM Wednesday to a report of criminal trespass to vehicle in progress in the block of 100 North Reuter Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender was found by the vehicle owner sitting in the driver seat of the vehicle owner's gray 2009 Pontiac G6. The offender left the area after noticing the owner approaching. Police searched the area with negative results. Nothing was missing from the vehicle. There was no vehicle damage and no signs of force.
The offender was described as a male/white in his 20s, 6'1" 180 LBS, with dyed red wavy hair, wearing a black hooded sweathshirt and dark baggy pants.
The crime is reported to have occurred Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 1:00 a.m.
Arlington Heights Police Department released information about this case at 8:38 a.m. CDT on October 9, 2013.
