Two Vehicle Burglaries At Condo/Apartment Parking Lot On Happfield Dr, Arlington Heights
Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:31 AM Sunday of two vehicle burglaries in a condo apartment parking lot in the block of 400 West Happfield Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a blue 2012 Toyota FJ cruiser. The vehicle was reported to be unlocked when it was entered.
Reported missing was a Magellan GPS valued at $200, a comforter valued at $100, a black suitcase valued at $100, and an emergency air tire compressor valued at $100.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 5 pm. and Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 10:35 a.m.
Also on the south side of the neighborhood, a second vehicle was reported burglarized.
A white 2003 Honda CR-V was burglarized, and the victim believes the vehicle may have been driven because the driver's seat was in a different position and the fuel gauge indicated a lower amount of fuel.
Reported missing was an amount of prescription cough syrup in a bottle (now half empty) and a case of beer and a half case of beer.
The beer was valued at $5.
The second burglary is reported to have occurred between Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 11:30 a.m.
