Arlington Heights Weather Forecast: Light, Dry Snow Expected To Restart Today, Temps Dropping Slowly, High 32

Chicagoland weather radar shows that all major snow has left the area. The trailing edge of snow precipitation is as far north as Waukesha and Milwaukee. Current radar shows no significant images developing and no snow headed our way, but snow and freezing drizzle is still forecast for today. Another 0.5 inch of snow is possible by tomorrow morning at about 6:00 a.m.

Satellite images show cloudy conditions across the entire Midwest with some clearing in northwest Iowa. Clouds are expected to remain over Chicagoland thoughout Sunday. Significant clearing of clouds is not expected until Tuesday about 1:00 a.m. when temperatures are expected fall near zero and hit zero or -1 by 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. The clearing will cause heat loss overnight, with wind chill down to -13 degrees.
