Elk Grove Village police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:15 PM Monday to a hit-and-run crash with personal injury at 42.003427,-88.023997 (Biesterfield Road and IL-53/I-290 Elk Grove Village). Police received a report that the driver of a white sedan fled the scene after being involved in a personal injury crash. The white sedan is reported to have front driver's side damage with blue paint transfer.
The offending vehicle was last seen eastbound (southbound) on Interstate 290.
