Servpro Of Arlington Heights Concludes Successful Food Drive - Thanks To All Who Participated

Servpro of Arlington Heights just completed its 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for the needy families in Arlington Heights. The owners of Servpro of Arlington Heights, Joe and Janet Coriaci, and their staff, would like to thank everyone who donated items to the food drive in order to help make Thanksgiving Day special for those who may have not been able to otherwise enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal. The amount of food collected this year, again, increased significantly from last year – Servpro added more days to their pickup and delivery because of extra food donations. Servpro filled their box truck least three times with food! The truck is capable of packing contents from a person's entire home.

Each canned good and non-perishable item is very much appreciated and generosity has been overwhelming, according to Servpro. Staff reported it is wonderful to see the outpouring of support in this community.

Servpro of Arlington Heights would like to especially thank the following individuals and businesses for their cooperation and support: Carol Jancek at The Village of Arlington Heights, for helping to coordinate the food drive, and for getting the word out and collecting at "The Village"

Mike Love and his staff at Chase Bank (downtown Arlington Heights & other participating branches)

Chris and his staff at Egg Harbor Café

Vicky Leahy and The Shepherd's Flock Preschool (where the kids actually delivered the food to The Village themselves)

Westgate, Dryden, Ivy Hill, and Windsor Elementary Schools, (which all collected a huge abundance of food & monetary donations to purchase food certificates)

Jenna & Hancock Square Apartments

Maria Cordon & Parkview Bank

Donna Radlicz, Rose Doherty & the"Church Ladies of AH" & their teen helpers

Dan Cuthbert's insurance office

and all of the businesses in Arlington Heights that posted a flyer and spread the word.

"We can only imagine what next year will bring – we are looking forward to keeping this going and we are happy to hear that everyone is looking forward to working with us again next year! "

The Thanksgiving Food Drive turned out much bigger and better than staff expected.
